The Beast did not lie. Corporate has confirmed that Lucifer and the
girl had captured Glory; though strangely it seems he simply released
her after torturing her for a few days. After her release she jumped to a
new host, who just so happened to be a company agent. We have her in custody now.
For
all the good it's done. She won't talk, we don't know what she told
Lucifer, if anything. All we know is what we already knew: that he
intends to find Fiona. Whether that has anything to do with the priest
or not is anyone's guess. Though if what the old man told me on the Path
is anything, Lucifer might actually be trying to avoid them.
Fuck all of this.
Oh, and Ridley disappeared today. The tire shop,
which I'll now point out was in fact a nightclub, which was in fact
merely a cover for Scalli's drug and prostitution services, has been...
Well, it spontaneously exploded. The police have found plenty of
explosives but that was just the stockpile Ridley was keeping there for
purposes, I can guarantee it had nothing to do with the blast. Scalli
and all of his and Ridley's people are dead, by the way. And it wasn't
the explosion that got them either; seems they were already torn to
pieces before the place went up.
I'll leave it to corporate to decide which one they think is responsible for this.
Awaiting further orders, my lords.
